19-Year-Old Murdered Over Small Debt in Pune, Three Accused Held

Pune Murder: A 19-year-old youth was allegedly beaten and strangled to death by his friends over a dispute involving borrowed money in a shocking incident near Pune.

The incident took place at Rakshe Vasti in Maan, near Pimpri-Chinchwad. Police have arrested two accused and taken a juvenile into custody in connection with the murder.

According to police, the victim has been identified as Ganesh Ranganath Mogare (19), a native of Parbhani who was staying at Parkhi Vasti in Maan. His father, Ranganath Mogare, filed a complaint at Hinjewadi Police Station.

Police said Ganesh had borrowed some money from the main accused, Pranav Walekar. A dispute reportedly developed after the amount was not returned on time.

On the day of the incident, accused Aniket Shinde and a juvenile allegedly confronted Ganesh and began assaulting him. During the attack, the main accused, Pranav Walekar, allegedly joined them and strangled Ganesh.

Police said the victim died on the spot due to the assault and strangulation.

Following the complaint, Hinjewadi Police launched an investigation and arrested Pranav Walekar and Aniket Shinde. The juvenile accused has also been taken into custody.

The incident has left the victim’s family in shock. Police are continuing their investigation to determine all the circumstances surrounding the case.
