Massive Fire Breaks Out in Flat at Hinjawadi Mega Police Society

Pune: A major fire broke out in a flat at Mega Police Society in Hinjawadi Phase 3 on June 24, triggering panic among residents of the housing complex.

The incident occurred at around 11 am on the eighth floor of Building No. 4 in the society. Thick smoke and flames were noticed from the flat, creating fear and confusion among residents in the area.

As news of the fire spread, people rushed out of their homes and gathered in safe locations. Residents immediately alerted the fire brigade about the incident.

Firefighters quickly reached the spot and launched an operation to control the blaze. After sustained efforts, the fire was brought under control before it could spread to nearby flats.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. However, the fire caused significant property damage inside the affected flat.

According to preliminary observations by fire officials, a short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire. The exact reason will be confirmed after a detailed investigation.
