One Lane Open in Hinjawadi Phase-2, Avoid Route Till April 26

Hinjewadi Traffic Update – Commuters in Pune’s IT hub Hinjawadi are likely to face traffic issues over the next few days due to ongoing repair work.

The Hinjawadi Traffic Division has restricted vehicle movement to a single lane between Wipro Circle and MIDC Circle in Phase-2.

The restriction is in place near Metro Station No. 3, opposite the Doehler company, where road digging is underway to fix a fault in an underground cable.

Officials said the damaged cable belongs to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited. Repair work is currently in progress, leading to reduced road space.

Due to this, heavy traffic congestion is expected, especially during peak hours from 8 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 8 pm.

Traffic police have advised commuters to avoid this stretch unless necessary. People working in nearby IT companies have also been asked to plan their travel in advance or use public transport.

Authorities said the work is being carried out on priority and is likely to be completed by April 26.

Till then, motorists are requested to cooperate with officials on duty and be prepared for delays while travelling through Hinjawadi Phase-2.
